Energy trade proposals offer solutions to Nile river conflict

A pioneering study by The University of Manchester, in partnership with regional bodies, introduces a promising strategy to mitigate the longstanding dispute over the Nile river's water resources, focusing on the mutual benefits of energy trade. Spanning 11 countries in East Africa, the Nile river is a critical source of water, energy, and economic sustenance. However, conflicts over its r
