Maple Leafs' Spezza offered in-person NHL hearing, teammate Simmonds fined

Maple Leafs forward Jason Spezza has been offered an in-person hearing with the league for kneeing Jets defenceman Neal Pionk on Sunday night. Spezza's teammate Wayne Simmonds was fined $2,250 for a cross-check in the same game.
