Setting a new default browser on the modern versions of Windows has long been quite a struggle, as Microsoft has unnecessarily complicated the whole thing, making people think the company just wants them to stick with Microsoft Edge. Windows 11 made no exception to this rule, as the new operating system still made it very challenging to set a new default browser. But as it turns out, the Redmond-based software giant is currently working on fixing this, as the latest preview build includes a new dedicated option in this regard.
