It’s Patch Tuesday, so it’s time for Microsoft to ship new cumulative updates to its operating systems, including Windows 10. In other words, users are now provided with new updates on Windows 10, and given they launch on a Patch Tuesday, installing them as soon as possible should be a priority. Patch Tuesday typically brings security improvements for Windows operating systems, and in the case of today’s release, Microsoft says it resolves an elevation of privilege vulnerability. “Addresses an elevation of privilege (EOP) vulnerability under CVE-2022-30154 for the Microsoft File Server Shadow Copy Agent Service.
