With the latest exhibition, 'A Right Royal Spectacle: The Coronation of George IV,' prepare to travel back in time to the rich world of King George IV's reign. The coronation of George IV in 1821 was one of colour and controversy, with absurd expense, the last ever coronation feast and a Queen Consort refused entry. On Saturday 11th March, The Brighton Pavilion opened its doors to this tale of vanity, monarchy and grief, reflecting on the last coronation feast just in time to celebrate King Charles III's upcoming coronation. The walkthrough display includes original costumes, paintings and lavish displays of several rooms replicating those of the historical royal palace.
