SEATTLE -- If you've noticed the skies have been a little bit hazy (when they're not covered in marine layer clouds), you can blame huge wildfires burning in Russia. The jet stream is carrying smoke from the blazes in Siberia up across the interior of Alaska and then blowing it southeast over the Gulf of Alaska and into Western Washington, according to the National Weather Service.
