Jefferson County schools to require masks for students under age 12 to start the school year

As Denver metro districts release plans ahead of the start of school next month, Jeffco is the first to put in a mandate. But students 12 and up are not required to wear masks, while teachers and staff who are unvaccinated must mask up.
