Popular heartburn medication Zantac recalled in U.S., but not yet in Canada

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is asking manufacturers and pharmacies to cease production and sale of over-the-counter Zantac, a medication that treats heartburn, due to potentially dangerous levels of a cancer-causing contaminant.
