Myanmar junta releases thousands of prisoners in New Year's amnesty as anti-coup protests continue

While the military is freeing the thousands of prisoners under a New Year amnesty, the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners says it is also seeking 832 people on warrants in connection with pro-democracy protests.
