Senior members of New Zealand's National Party will meet to plan forming a coalition government after winning a slim majority in the general election. Prime Minister-elect Christopher Luxon said negotiations would happen behind closed doors and that he is prepared to work with other parties to form a stable government. The National Party won 50 seats and the ACT Party won 11, securing a majority of just one seat in the 121-seat parliament.
