Protesters at European Parl raise chants on abuse of blasphemy laws in Pak

The European PakistChristian Action Committee held a protest outside the European Parliament, raising issues including the abuse of blasphemy laws, a culture of impunity, discrimination, incitement of violence in the name of religion, coerced faith conversions and forced child marriages of Christian and Hindu girls in Pakistan, news portal The White Post Pakistan reported. Protesters raised concerns over religious freedom violations and urged the European Union to encourage Pakistan to follow human rights obligations under the Generalised System of Preferences (GSP) Plus status.
