41 Thais trapped by Myanmar fighting repatriated: Army

Forty-one Thais who were trapped in Myanmar for three weeks due to fighting between the junta and armed groups have been repatriated to Thailand. The Thai army said that the group, consisting of 23 men and 18 women, were taken to the border province of Chiang Rai where they will receive food, shelter, and health check-ups. The army is also working on repatriating over 260 Thai nationals who are believed to be working in illegal online scam centers in Myanmar. The fighting in Myanmar has displaced over 200,000 people.
