Flash Floods Kill Scores on Nepal-Tibet Border

Flash floods swept through the Himalayan border region of Nepal and Tibet, killing at least 95 people and leaving hundreds missing, Nepali authorities said. The floods destroyed houses, roads, bridges and power projects; the missing include border officials, port workers and foreign tourists. Earlier reports cited lower death tolls.
