17 people.. many of whom were students... were gunned down at stoneman douglas high school in parkland, florida. tomorrow-- students from all over the country are being called to action. --a national walkout is planned. but not all local schools are participate the same way. newschannel 2's zhane caldwell joins us now live.. with a look at the utica city school district's plans. --zhane. that's right don ... local students have planned protests for tomorrow. new hartford schools are planning educational activities in honor of the parkland shooting. in utica ..one student took it upon herself to plan a walk out at donovan middle school. the walk out is a part of a national school walk out taking place tomorrow. the protest will last 17 minutes. one minute for each person who lost their lives in the parkland shooting. the organizer of the walkout ..and her mom say they are protesting the lack of response to gun vio.
