Severe storms wreaked havoc in the northeast on Tuesday, May 15, leaving more than half a million people without power in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Connecticut.
At least one person died when a tree fell on the truck, while three others were injured in in Connecticut, the Hartford Courant reported.
An 11-year-old girl was killed when a tree fell onto a car in New York State.
The powerful storms brought heavy rain, hail, destructive wind and tornado warnings in the Tri-State area.
