Dictionary.com Tweeted Definition of 'Traitor' after Trump/Putin Press Conference
Right after President Trump’s meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Dictionary.com tweeted the definition of the words Patriot and Traitor, the Hill reports.??????All though the tweet is most likely not a coincidence, it is unclear what exactly it refers to.????However according to the Washington Post, just moments before, Trump said he holds both the US and Russia responsible for bad relations between the two countries.????He also once again denied that their was any collusion between his campaign and Russia, and said he believes Putin when he said Russia didn’t interfere in the 2016 election.????Trump’s statements put him at odds with the special counsel and the FBI who have said that Russia did interfere in the election.??????The Hills also notes that the week before Trump’s meeting, special counsel Robert Mueller indicted 12 Russian intelligence officers for allegedly hacking Democratic servers during the 2016 campaign.??????Still when referring to the interference in the election, Trump commented on Putin’s denials saying, "He just said it’s not Russia.
I will say this, I don’t see any reason why it would be.”??????The Hill reports lawmakers on both sides of the aisle said the remarks the President made during his meeting in Helsinki are “shameful” and a “disgrace.”????Even former CIA Director John Brennan wrote on twitter calling Trump’s performance as nothing short of treasonous.??
