Hong Kong Leader Delays Extradition Bill After 2nd Massive Protest

According to a report by Reuters, on Sunday, Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam apologized to the public following the second massive protest in a week over a proposed extradition bill that would allow people to be extradited to mainland China to stand trial.

Lam reportedly expressed 'deep sorrow and regret' after indefinitely delaying the extradition on Saturday.

The decision came after hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets demanding that she step down.
