Patrick has highlights from the 23rd legion invitational, local golfers take to the links in the Senior AM golf tournament, plus Chugiak's Matt Toth and Anchorage's Desirae Edmonds compete in a shooting competition in Hungary.

Local and out of state talent on day 2 of the bp invitational.

We start things off with rivals south and dimond.

This the first game of the tournement for the wolverines while the lynx won their opener yesterday.

Top of the second dimond leads by one....dimond's sean carey flys out to center....jacob andresen tags up and scores....lynx take a two nothing lead.

Next inning it's kyle hendrickson....hits a double to the gap good enough to score two runs.

The lynx would go on to win eleven to five and play napeolon ohio tomorrow the last game on the dockett tonight is chugiak vs napeolon ohio.

This ohio squad no stranger to the bp tournament making seven trips to play in in bottom of the luke breininger takes it the other way scoring toby walker ohio takes the early lead.

Bottom third...breininger again.....hits a single to score jake greer ohio would go on to break things open in the third scoring eight runs.

Easy to understand why they come back so often with succes like this winning eleven to one in five innings.

Nathan webb going went two for four with an r-b-i...while oilers starter raymond kerr picthed six scoreless innings.

The alaska state senior-am kickin off at the anchroage golf course, a stroke play over fifty four holes.

David hamilton leading the way on the senior leader board shooting a seventy six.

In the masters championship which is forty five and older...jung han leading the way with an eighty one.

For the twenty one and older crowd it was adam baxter in fisrt place shooting a seventy three.

For the women it was pamela chesla leading after the first round.

Now play will pick up tomorrow and finish on sunday.

Lastly tonight giving it their best shot...lieterally.

Chugiak's matt toth and anchorage's desirae edmonds are in hungary representing the united states in a shooting competition toth currently has a total score of 81 in the juniors division, and edmonds shooting a 83 in the ladies divison.

Both shooting sporting clays different than both trap and skeet they shoot 50 targets a day for four dys coming to a total of 200 targets.
