14-hundred tests have been done in the state - with over 300 of them being at mayo clinic.
Three of the 54 cases in minnesota are linked to the twin cities metro area and officials are unable to determine how or where those people got it from.
However, briggs states that's not the case for olmsted county.
"this case just like the first one that we saw, we believe was exposed and the infection was acquired outside of olmsted county.
So it does not indicate that we have any evidence of local transmission here in olmsted county."
Briggs says a vaccine is being developed and health officials are looking at having it in place in twleve to eighteen months.
