Is live in eugene to tell us about a restaurant owner cooking up a batch of kindness.

Justin freeman from bagel sphere shared a little anecdote about why he and his company are proud to partner with this relief effort.

He described it like this.

We are all seated on our own stool in this life - with the legs of support being things like work - social connection - financial health - and food security.

He said in recent months - we have all had at least one of the legs kicked out from under us.

But he said for our homeless population -- some of them never had these legs of support to begin with he said that his business as well as the others partnered with food for lane county in this relief effort are doing what needs to be done so that we can all safely weather this storm together.

He said the county partnered with food for lane county and local restaurants is the kind of we thinking that will get us through this "being able to provide economical and nutritious meals to help serve these ends is simply the right thing to do and it's one of those intersections where business and public policy can partner together to promote social good" he said the temporary shelters that lane county has set up provide the food - shelter - and security many are lacking at this time and they are doing their part so that this pandemic does not wipe out any more stability from an already vulnerable community representatives from food for lane county said they have cut back on volunteer staff to stem the transmission of the virus, and the best way to help out if you can is by donation -- reportin glive in eugene emma jerome kezi
