The city of roseburg is keeping their parks open right now& but with a few execptions.

Kezi 9 news reporter evita garza shows us exactly what those execptions are and how they align with social distancing.

The main message?

The parks are open, as long as you maintain social distancing?

Right now... only the playground equipment is off limits.

This follows governor kate brown's executive order to close all playgrounds and sports courts.

But communications specialist eric johnson says the city hopes people will take advantage of the rest of the parks.

If someone is caught on a playground& johnson says law enforcement won be handing out tickets.

He says people will get a warning for now.

If a situation like that came about, they would just educate folks and say, hey youe not suppose to be here per executive order?
