Oregon high schoolers will be graded with a pass or "incomplete" for the rest of the school year.

Now a group of parents and students from around the state are pushing schools... for a letter grade option.

A petition on change-dot-org has more than 28- hundred signatures.

Supporters say without a letter grade, high schoolers won't be able to raise their g- p-a.

And that will hurt anyone applying to colleges or for scholarships.

The oregon department of education says it has to safeguard against unintended consequences as freshmen through juniors work toward graduation and pursue higher education.

Staff at the roseburg v-a are taking extra safety measures after four employees tested positive for coronavirus.

Roseburg v-a staff say they are doing everything to make sure they don see another coronavirus case.

They confirmed monday that four of their employees tested postive.

They were unable to say when or how the employees got sick&but they don believe it came from inside the building.?i will say that, like i said, the chances of them all being in contact with each other, is very slim?

Executive assistant shawn tyson tells me there no risk for an outbreak at the v-a.

But, he says theye leaning on their exisiting precautions to keep people safe&like screening everyone who comes on campus.

Tyson says theye stocked up on personal protective equiptment for employees to wear at all times.

Plus, theye tested everyone the four employees had contact with since learning they tested positive&.?our number one goal is to keep the virus our of our walls.

So if wee outside, we can address it out here appropriately?

If people follow their precautions and the c-d-c guildlines, tyson believes theyl keep coronavirus out of the v-a.
