Tupelo/Lee County Hunger Coalition working to feed those in need as the coronavirus pandemic continues.

Numbers continuing to rise due to coronavirus, more families are asking....where will their next meal come from?

There is a greater demand on area food pantries.

The tupelo/lee county hunger coalition is working to help fill this gap.

Volunteers worked in two different shifts earlier today to pack 575 food boxes.

These food boxes will be delivered directly to low income families... who face a lack of transportation in seeking help from local panties.

Time covid pandemic we are building food boxes that we are going to distribute in low income areas all across the lee county area our goal is to built 1500 food boxes a month we are planning to serve as many people as we can through out this time covid pandemic.

A distribution date for food box deliveries has not been set yet.
