Dave Chappelle Helps Raise Over $100,000 During Coronavirus Pandemic The comedian was a surprise guest in the final installment of a three-part benefit podcast for The Comedy Store in Los Angeles.
Chappelle was joined by comedian Bill Burr and ‘Chappelle’s Show’ alums Donnell Rawlings and Neal Brennan.
The benefit was held to raise money for the venue, which was forced to close at the onset of the pandemic.
Earlier guests included Chris D’Elia, Whitney Cummings, Tom Segura and Andrew Santino.
The venue shared a statement saying that they will continue to pay staff and regular comedians for the foreseeable future.
