News 10's jordan kudisch joins us live this morning from our newsroom to explain one local music shop's plan of action to re-open... when the time comes.

The main mix is a music shop that sits right on wabash avenue.

They've been closed for over a month..

And they say they're ready to open back up with precautions.

When allowed..

Owner "alex williams" says they're going to take it slow and steady when it comes to re-opening.

That means wearing face masks..

Gloves..

And sanitizing instruments.

Williams says with it being a small building..

He's taking no chances.

They'll also start off by seeing customers by appointment only.

Williams says things will feel different getting back to the new normal..

But they're prepared for what's to come.

"we will be wearing gloves and masks at all time while customers are in the building.

So i mean it's going to be a little weird at first but we're gonna do what we can to be able to open ourselves back up to be able to offer what we have back to the public."

Coming up... how hard it was for the business to close their doors..
