Alicia says: progress for the fourth coronavirus relief package has been slow and divided along party lines with disagreements leading to a stand still.

Merkley says: "what we need is a lot of urgency to get that next package for corona relief done the administration has said it's on pause absolutely the wrong attitude" democrats and republicans have been disagreeing over whether or not to send additional funding to state and local governments hit hard by the economic fallout from the pandemic.

There's been a multitude of proposals for the package, including another round of stimulus checks and more money to increase the nations testing and contact tracing.
