Schnitzelbank Reopens To Customers:

Starting on monday, indiana begins reopening restaurants to customers at 50 percent capacity.

We've been open throughout this whole thing.

Now just to get back into here we had a full day after mother's day yesterday after all the to go orders, we did about a thousand to go orders yesterday, a thousand people and after that we had the whole place sanitized down and had the cleaning people come in and really go through the whole restaurant and just sanitized everything just to get back open.

Like many restaurants reopening, schnitzel bank is taking precautions to ensure that customers safely receive their items and that they are adhering to social distancing guidelines.

One person comes in the door and tells us they've got four people we make sure that when we take them to a table that no one else is around them or whatever.

So we don't let people congregate in our lobby.

All of our kitchen staff are wearing masks and they do wear gloves back there because they are prepping all the food and like i said we've got our social distancing as far as the tables are concerned in here and our waitresses are well prepared and we've been having several meetings before we opened up here so they know what the sanitation rules are here.

In the coming weeks, ownership is preparing to comply with the state's reopen plan, but they are also preparing for what they might have to do should the number of cases spike again.

We go with what the governor tells us and i hope there's not a spike in numbers and if there is i think they would let us go back to take out only.

If we have to, we have to back the other way.

I sure hope we don't but things look good right now but you just don't know.
