McBride Honored by Bloomfield

Ron McBride has court named in his honor

This weekend one wabash valley school announced that they were honoring their iconic head coach in a special way.

Glover gynasium in bloomfield will now be the home to ron mcbride court starting next season.

Former bloomfield head coach ron mcbride spent 48 years with bloomfield school corporation.

The long time athletic director filled in one final time on the bench for his cardinals in the 2018-19 season where he lead his cardinals to the class 1a semi-state finals against rival barr-reeve.

Coach retired from both coaching and his ad role after the 2019 school year came to an end.

In all mcbride coached the cardinals for 17 seasons racking up 248 wins, eight sectional titles, four regional titles, and one semi-state crown.
