Mayor Bennett releases reopening plans for Terre Haute

Four of our five museums will open next week.

In both directions.

Today -- indiana has started phase 4 of its back on track plan.

This is sooner than the original plan.

It means more places can open today....and more people can be inside.

Meanwhile -- mayor duke bennett released his reopening plans for terre haute today.

They mirror governor holcombs plan.

Mayor duke bennett highlights that four of the city's five museums will re-open next week.

He says city hall is working by appointment only for the public.

He says they are still doing a lot of things online or over the phone.

As far as small businesses in town... mayor bennett says he's hoping they can open at full capacity soon and that most of them survive.

"its tough you know most of these small businesses don't have a big profit margin and when it gets wiped out when you don't have foot traffic no customers you can't survive forever.

And so the sooner we get things back to normal whatever normal looks like in the future the more likely these businesses will be able to survive."
