Health department issuing a warning today about a graduation ceremony held in the county last weekend.

Kq2's madeline mcclain joins us in studio now... a person infected with coronavirus attendend the savannah high school's graduation sunday... the andrew county health department says -- the positive test result came back monday -- the individual -- however -- found out today... here's video of that graduation.... posted to the savannah high school's youtube channel -- you can see the graudation took place outside.

But people in a celebratory mood -- didn't maintain that six-foot distance, or wear masks... in a release to the community, savannah school district and county health officials are strongly advising anyone who attended graduation to monitor their health.

(jayne: vigilant about their symptoms ) according to the release, those known to have been in direct contact with the individual have been contacted by the andrew county health department.

Savannah has not reported any additional cases linked to graduation.

The county health department reports 50 cases since the beginning of the pandemic.
