Overtaking driver narrowly avoids head-on crash on wet slippery road in Thailand

This is a shocking moment a speeding pickup truck nearly caused a horror crash while trying to overtake on a slippery road on a rainy day.

Dash cam footage from passing driver Niphon shows the silver pick-up passing him in the wrong lane when a sedan approaches head-on.

Luckily, the reckless pickup driver swerved at the last moment while the oncoming car moved in the opposite direction.

The were just a few inches from a horror crash during the ran downpour in Surin, northeastern Thailand on July 3 morning.

Niphon said: "The oncoming car had just a second or two to control their car.

If they had not been paying attention it could have been a disastrous accident for everyone.''
