Uttar Pradesh Police arrested am accused criminal named Pulast Tiwari in an encounter on August 09.
The encounter broke out between police and miscreants in Ashiyana area.
"He opened fire on policemen when they followed him.
In retaliatory fire, he sustained injury in his leg.
He was carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 on his head," said DCP (Traffic), Charu Nigam.
