Arab City Schools has first day of classes
One point during the semester.
Happening right now- arab city school students are in class for the first time since march!
Waay31s sierra phillips was there all morning as kids walked through the front doors.
She got a look at how the district is working to keep buses clean for the trip home.
Take a look as kids were dropped off thursday morning for class.
Once these buses unload, they head back here to the tranportation office and arab high school senior, walker mckenney, has his time to shine.
Mckenney's first period class is a co-oping program where he works for the school district, but this year his job is focused on making sure these buses are properly sprayed and sanitized for their next routes.
It's all for one reason..... mckenney- "to keep kids safe."
Sanitizing doesn't stop at the buses.
Teachers have spray bottles of sanitizer to clean their classrooms throughout the day.
