She said she is working with state and county leaders to keep voters safe.

."

"we're just trying to make sure everybody has the ability to go vote.

And they feel safe."

Lee county's circuit clerk, camille dulaney, said staff will spray and wipe down voting stations in between voters.

The clerk will have extra poll workers to make sure voters are social distancing and wearing masks.

Dulaney feels it will be a smoother election because of the extra precautions.

Sot: "because the poll worker will have time to take the time in between voters to clean and that kind of stuff so i think it will actually be better."

Dulaney said her staff is waiting on protective equipment.

The state attorney's office will provide face shields and gloves for all workers.

State leaders will send hand sanitizer for voters.

Also, the county's board of supervisors will supply shields to separate poll workers and voters.

Jim diffee lives in lee county.

He said he will vote in person because he believes the poll sites will be safe .

Sot: "it's the way i've always done it.

I don't have any fear of going."

Dulaney said she will start setting up sites once the state drops off the paper ballots.

And as an added precaution, all voters get their own pens.
