First Student Transit Prepares for Back to School

Rochester buses ran some routes on Monday ahead of the first day of Rochester classes on Wednesday.

KIMT got an inside look at the changes students can expect.

"* term care rochester school bus drivers are busy running routes today to prepare for students' return to school on wednesday.

The buses will operate on a hybrid system covering 225?

Location manager jon goetz (gates) wants to remind parents that kids will be required to wear a mask.

There will be some on hand if a student forgets one.

Gates also says drivers have been learning the new cleaning system to ensure kids are a safe as possible when we've been telling our drivers in safety meetings over and over again that we have to keep to the basics.

Safety is our number one priority.

We have to make sure we get them on the bus safely, drive the bus safely and deliver them to school or home safely.
