A powerful hail storm left a trail of destruction in Indonesia.

Several cities in West Java province were battered by the storm that brought strong winds and heavy rain on September 23.

In Cianjur Regency, a large tree was uprooted and blocked the traffic going to Bandung which stranded motorists for a few hours until officers arrived to clear the road.

The storm also damaged at least 60 houses and commercial buildings in nearby cities Sukabumi and Bogor.

At a university hall in Sukabumi, tiles were seen being blown off the roof.

Trees were also uprooted in the city.

Authorities are still estimating the amount of damages, but there is no reported injured in any of the affected areas.
