Many hot button issues are expected to be brought up on the debate stage on Tuesday evening.

We asked some community members why they're choosing to tune in.

News 18's micah upshaw spoke with people in our area about what they're interested to hear.

Ll: i spoke with people who are dead-set on who they're voting for despite the debate and others who are watching to learn what candidates are all about.

But everyone's interested in what's to come.

Vo: trump and biden are expected to speak on nine hot button issues.

This includes, plans for handling the covid-19 outbreak, the economy, health care, education, police reform, gun violence, immigration, foreign rekations, and the climate crisis.

The debale will be 90-minutes.

Fox news journalist chris wallace will be moderating.

People locally have difference approaches to the debate.

Some say they're specifically watching to learn more and other say they're watching for pure entertainment.

They do believe it's important to tune in.
