Dustin Wayne of Oxnard is pictured having the symbol - that's associated with the Nazi era and modern hate groups - removed.
Wayne explained to Newsflare: "This is the second session of my hate tattoo removal.
"I have two iron crosses that are getting removed." He explained that this is the second of 10 sessions that will remove the ink from display on his body.
On a viral Reddit post that amassed nearly 100,000 upvotes, he used the caption: "You can’t change the past but you can make the future."
