US Sen.
Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) was once told in an airport that she should pump her breastmilk in a handicapped toilet stall.
The Democratic senator was appalled, so she did something about it.
According to Business Insider, she's just unlocked federal funding that will allow small airports to use federal funds to build breastfeeding rooms. An under-the-radar 2018 law allowed medium and large airports to use federal funds to build or add the facilities, but smaller ones were omitted.
