Employees told us they, too, were kept in the dark, for years.

But, today- a lengthy, candid, exclusive interview with the new managing partner for remington arms, about the future of the ilion plant, and, the people in it.

The question is, how big will it be?

That depends on some external factors" according to remington arms' new managing partner, richmond italia, of the roundhill group, the bad news went out yesterday, company wide.

It's across the board, the whole company.

We've agreed to bring back 200 hourly employees, as we discussed earlier.

And while new ownership says they're committed to staying in ilion....remington's presence-and workforce-will be much smaller to start than the 700 or so who worked there with the marlin line, which was bought by another company and represents 200-250 jobs.

And the new owners say remington will be a hunting/sporting company.
