Other schools in the area have yet to follow.

Vo: in september the school announced partnering with the ymca and kid-time to offer childcare.

The principal says parent reaction to the change has been mixed.

We have parents who praise us for our efforts and praise us for our response we have parents who frustrated with not having more in person instruction and we were on areally great trajectory until a few days ago of maximizing those opportunities for students.

Governor brown's two week freeze does not apply to schools.

Davenport says the health department even reccomended schools not shut down completely.
