WAAY 31 Hero Salute: James M. Montgomery

Time now for the waay 31 hero salute.

This morning's salute goes to the late james montgomery.

It was sent to us from his granddaughter, suzanne hinton.

James was a world war two veteran from russellville.

He served in the army air corps which later turned into the u.s. air force.

After his service, james returned to alabama and taught 35 years in the colbert county school system.

Suzanne tells us there's not a day that goes by her family doesn't miss him.

Suzanne thank you so much for allowing us to salute your late grandfather, james montgomery.
