LEG Session

Kentucky legislature was back in session today... in this shortened session the capitol has been busy fast tracking a few bills...as of today lawmakers have passed six bills in five days.

Including passing two bills this afternoon to try and limit gubneratorial powers in kentucky.

One of the bills would limit the governor's executive orsers in times of emergency to 30 days unless extended by lawmakers...this in reference to the republican lead legislature saying they were not included.... over the course of the pandemic... in the governor's decsions.

The other...if signed by the governor...would allow businesses and schools to stay open if they comply with covid-19 related guidelines either from the state or c-d-c.
