Title.

The 2021 isu football season is officially underway.

Today was the first day of sycamores spring football.

It was practice number one of 14, leading up to the 15th and final practice of the spring, the annual blue and white scrimmage in may.

After missing out on their fall season due to covid-19 and deciding to forgo the make up, confernce only, winter football season, it's the first time isu has been back on the field at memorial stadium in quite some time.

Coach mallory spoke after practice about how excited his guys are to be back in action.

<they wanted to get out here, you could tell it was time.

But you know what, our goal was to come in and get a really good start academically and we're the best we've been academically.

We're as healthy as we've ever been going into spring.

We've got everybody here, there isn't one guy that's gonna be out for spring, so we're happy about that.

And then the gains we've made in the offseason.
