April is Distracted Driver Awareness Month

3 major issue, you know, please don't drive.

The car in your hand has caused many fatalities, but distracted driving really ruined your commute in other ways, too, so that's why we're encouraging people like when you're stopped at a stoplight and you get your phone out because you're bored and you want to fool around with it.

You're actually causing delay and we've actually had to put in place to put in extra time in their signals.

To accommodate that, because people's reactions they're not 100% of the reactions, so instead of going when it goes green.

They're taking a while and you know we've had reductions.

We've had significant, um impacts and that in our traffic system in its causing traffic jams, it's causing increased time traveling because of that, so.

You know, another way to is?

You know when you're behind someone, i think everyone's experience this the news.

They're kind of just going a little bit too slow where they're just going really slow when you're like, what's going on?

You have to kind of move around them because it's just causing this big delay.

You see there on their phone?

We have an issue if people going to bastard restaurants and then coming out the fast food restaurants and then just kind of just not paying attention to what they're doing, grabbing their food.

You know, love the law driving from obvious like our big website, his destination zero deaths comets, the state's highway safety plan.

There's so many with different ways you can be distracted.
