A snake expert rescued a 7-foot python from the bottom of a dry well in northern India on June 12 after the reptile was attacked by stone-throwing children.

A snake expert rescued a 7-foot python from the bottom of a dry well in northern India on June 12 after the reptile was attacked by stone-throwing children.

Jitendra Sarthi travelled to Gewra Basti village in Chattisgarh and hauled the injured snake from the well and then revived with some water.

He took the python to a vet where it was treated for its injuries prior to being released in the forest.
