Anatoly Antonov, Russia’s ambassador to the United States, responded to Democrat President Joe Biden enacting some sanctions against Russia in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine by saying that American citizens would be punished as a result.
Antonov responded to the sanctions in a post on the official Facebook page of Russia’s Embassy in the U.S., writing that “sanctions cannot solve a thing.”
