What is the Religion of Japan?

I've lived in Japan for 13 years mostly in Sendai and Niigata.

But I visited over 200 cities from Northern Japan to Central Japan.

I also have been a Nichiren Buddhist with the Soka Gakkai for 50 plus years in this life time and was a Buddhist in Japan in another life time, when I was a monk in the 13th and 14th Century.
