Brett who comes from a Navy background - his father was a US Diplomat to Iraq in 2008 - ran his father's campaign for the Oklahoma House of Representatives in the early 2000's and has been involved in some level of politics since.
He is the author of the short novel entitled The Dream and is currently authoring a memorial biography after the tragic death of his father during the ‘Surge’ campaign for Iraqi freedom in 2008.
