The war between Israel and the Hamas militants entered its sixth day on Thursday.

As the conflict intensifies, reports emerge of two women of Indian origin serving in the Israeli Army.

According to reports, the daughters of two Indian-origin persons took up arms for Israel.

The women, named Riya and Nisha, are the daughters of Jivabhai Muliyasia and Savdasbhai Muliyasia.

They hail from Kothadi village in Manavadar taluka of Gujarati city Junagadh.

As per reports, Jivabhai Muliyasia and Savdasbhai Muliyasia settled in Gujarat years ago and now have become citizens of Israel.

In Israel, the majority of citizens are required to undergo mandatory military service, spanning two and a half years for men and two years for women, commencing at age 18.
